Moscato d’Asti DOCG 2015

VinificationFor this typical Piedmontese white wine, of the Alessandro Motta farm, a maceration is carried out with the skins for a few hours with a horizontal press; subsequent pressing of the skins takes place, to release all the properties. Then a fermentation takes place at strictly controlled temperature. Subsequently, at the end of fermentation, a must stabilization phase follows; microfiltration allows to have a limpid and fine wine; the last step is bottling and then stored and prepared for sale.
FeaturesMoscato d’Asti has a shiny straw yellow. On the nose, as a first impression, it releases all the fresh and intense aromas typical of citrus fruits, with a hard tone of dried and candied fruit and the sweet hint of honey. In the mouth this wine is really fine, full of bubbles and a sugary feeling never intrusive, indeed well balanced by a good acidity favoring the excellent drinkability at any time of the day.
MatchingPiedmontese white wine offers a wide range of combinations at the table, thanks to the fragrances that it releases and according to the various nuances of tastes, of vines and winemaking methods, which are distinguished according to the sugar content and duration of the disgorgement period, or the second fermentation in the bottle.
Combined with dry pastries, and typical winter desserts such as panettone, dry cakes such as hazelnut cake and pies, this wine brings back the best of its fragrances. Ideal also with all fresh and dried fruit. For a special touch, Moscato d’Asti, is very pleasant as a special aperitif and as a refreshing drink at any time of the day.
